Teamwork Covers Absence or Lapses
After a rigorous process of recruitment, another important task is to build a team. Although not all members of staff are team players, many school owners would not want their teachers to be involved in the affairs of the school other than their day-to-day teaching. Instead of building a team, they often make a mistake of training a superstar—a successor. Are all your teachers involved? Never train a single superstar teacher. To build a team, you must get everybody involved. I know you may like a particular teacher because he or she is hard-working; has an ownership spirit; gets things done without reminders and you prefer to delegate all responsibility to him or her.
