Problem 1: Staffing Shortages
Both public and private schools in the country are plagued by extreme staffing shortages. From the hostels to school buses and classrooms, there are not enough people filling the roles we need to have any sort of functional school year. Our kids deserve so much better than this. While many fresh graduates don’t consider taking up teaching as a career, the existing teachers are looking for ways to quit teaching either for a more lucrative pay or for a greener pasture in Asia, Canada or Europe. The immediate consequence is staffing shortages.
